Muskrit is on dreamwidth! I have done nothing aside from register the name; I haven't even looked at the layout yet. If the default colors are this red and pink, I can tell you that will change right quick.

you can change the default setup from red/pink to shades of purple, or to a simple gray -- there's four different ones, I think... erm, I think you find those in the profile setup. UGH! Can't recall. Must dig, sadly. Good luck. If you can't find it, remind me later & I'll see if I can't track down the exact page.

Unrelated question: what's been your take on present-tense in terms of editors liking/not-liking? I know you write some pretty experimental stuff, so I figured if anyone may've pushed the boundaries of what's okay in rom/ero, it'd be you. Just trying to figure out if I should revise to past-tense now, before it ends up being a nightmare to do it all after the story's done. Ffffttt. I hate changing tenses -- especially when half the time I end up writing in past tense and have to revise mid-writing, anyway. Sigh.

I suspect it may depend on a combination of factors like story length and publisher (or maybe even the personal taste of an editor). I've never been asked to revise from present-tense to past-tense--but I've also never submitted anything over 10K words. I do have one friend who was asked to change a longer story (20K, I think) to past-tense after it was complete. I love present-tense no matter what the length (how many thousands upon thousands of present-tense narrative have I read by Neal Stephenson!), but I'm pretty sure no one would object to past-tense.

I am beyond tipsy, now that I think about it, so I can be DEMANDING. I want like ten times your ten K's that I've got in my ebooks folder! like an entire NOVEL! and more! a SUPER novel! leaping small novellas in a single bound! bending steel! and stuff.

plus, more stuff. I could do with more stuff. from you, specificlaly, story-wise, since if I had other more stuff, like phsyical stuff, I wouldn't know where to put it. I don't even have room for the stuff I do have. but I have room for more ebooks! lots and lots more! so write that 300 page tome. PLEASE. I want to spend money on someone whose writing is actually WORTH it and I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel here.
